He Did It
Mood:  celebratory
Well last night went great except for him falling asleep by the gate in front of the door. After he was put back in bed he slept until 9:00am. Which isn't as long as usual, but it still works for me. For his nap today He Did IT!!!! He fell asleep in his bed on his own. Well with the help of a big blue ball that took up 1/3 of the bed. He played a little and after about 10 minutes settled in. Let's just hope I still get a 3 hour nap out of him. Cross our fingers.

March
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: Hayden is 18 months old
Hi everyone, what a busy month it has been. We have done so many new things that I am not sure I will remember them all.

Let's see we took Hayden to the zoo and we decided we didn't need a stroller since we were not going to be there long. This is still a little difficult because Hayden has a mind of his own. We even let him have mini M&M's while waiting for them to feed the tigers. Of course when he finished his snack, he could care less about the tigers. He just wanted to run around. His favorite thing to do at the zoo is the boat ride to see the monkeys. Then a couple of days later, he was able to play the pots at Grandma's house while they watched him. He seemed to really enjoy it so that will be a special thing he does at THEIR house. The next day Hayden was able to help Papa water the plants at his Great Grandma's (Busia) house. He was soaking wet but he didn't want to stop. Hayden will also be in the Neopolitan Family magazine in Naples. They did an artical on Aurelio's being a Family Resturant and a great place to take the kids. So of course we had to dress him up for it. Hayden also attended a birthday party that had pony rides. So he was able to ride a pony and he absolutely loved that also.

We had our 18month dr. appointment and it went very well. He is 26lbs 9oz and 34 1/2 in tall. He has averaged out in weight, but still off the charts in Height. He now has all his teeth except his 2nd year molars.

we have been doing some interior decorating in all the bedrooms and Hayden moved up to a bigger bedroom. We have also decided to take him out of the crib. He was starting to put his leg on the top rail, and I really don't want to wait until he gets hurt to take him out. He did not do very well for his first nap, so we put him in the play pen in the room to get used to it. Bed time was much better. He settled right on in. Of course he ended up on the floor, in front of the gate and door, but at least he fell asleep. He stayed asleep for the transfer to his bed. Hopefully we will have an uneventfull night.

Our only other big news is that Hayden made his first tinkle on the potty. Of course he has only done it once and it has been over a week, but I am aloud to feel proud of him, even if it was an accident.

Feb is done
Well Hello everyone!

I can't believe it is March 1st and I actually have all of February's Pics on the Blog. I know I haven't made many entries, but I am trying to get better.

Hayden is really trying hard to talk. He now says please and is really proud of himself. He will occasionally say thank you if I ask him. He is really trying hard to start talking. Our Doctor also told us we should try potty training, because she thinks Hayden is advanced and He would probably do OK. I am not so sure I want my Baby growing up yet!!! But I gave in and bought Him a seat. He has no problem sitting on it except when He has to go to the bathroom. Then He wants nothing to do with it. The other day I tried to put him on after breakfast, He told me no, waved His hands in front of me, started crying, took off down the hall and proceeded to poop. So we are giving it a couple days before we try again. I will do my best at keeping up this month.

My how time flies!
Hi everyone, I know it has been a while since our last entry, but season seems to have started early for us this year and I am exhausted. Here is an update on Hayden. As of 1/29/06 He was 34" tall and weighed in at 26lbs 6 oz. We have finally slowed down in the weight gain dept, but continue to get taller every day. I can not believe He is half my height. I am starting to feel like I am shrinking. He is doing well on talking. He will say please and more all the time now and he will try to say whatever you ask him to say. He comes pretty close, but he never keeps saying it. Also, when he throws a ball he will say "go get" and then he chases it. He is also starting to say mommy instead of Mama. I personally love it. The other day when Dad walked into the room, he got very excited and said DADA and even pointed to him.

Hayden is also going to be a lady killer, because he loves dishing out the kisses (when he is in the mood) and he gives killer hugs.

Hayden is still taking swimming lessons and he still loves the water. We went in a pool today and he was constantly putting his face in the water on his own. He has absolutely no fear whatsoever.

Please check the photo album, January is finally in!!!!

Untill later

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Mood:  celebratory
Hi everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it has been a while since our last entry but we have been very busy. Hayden's Great Grandma moved down to Florida and we have been working really hard to get Her place ready and get Her moved in. Hayden is getting over his 1st sickness in 15 months. He had bronchiolitis or what us Mom's like to call it, a cold. However, we have had to do some breathing treatments to help the tightening in his chest. He is doing much better and ready to go. He has met His cousin Tyler for the first time this weekend and they play really well together.

Hayden's latest weigh in is 25 lbs 6 oz and 33 1/2 inches tall. He is losing weight and gaing height. He is finally becoming a skinny kid.

I hope to have Decembers pictures download in the next couple of days. It is very hard for me since I have a child that never sits still for more than 2 min. (That is actually long for him). We are constantly getting into everything so I have been trying to come up with some new ways to keep him occupied. You can only handle so much baby einstein!!!!

Take Care in the New Year

WOW
Hi everyone, sorry it has been so long since our last entry. As most of you know we have been a little busy down south. Hayden has offically been through his first Major hurricane. I don't even think he cared. He would have probably slept through it if his mother had not been paranoid and woken him up. His crazy mother thought he should be closer to her just encase something happened. He was a little crabby, but aren't we all if we are woken up at 3:00 in the am. He is getting smarter everyday. He is loving his swimming lessons and really enjoys going underwater. He has even started trying to blow bubbles in the water. He has moved on from walking to running on occasion. Boy is that heart stopping!!! We really enjoyed Halloween this year and he loved being a furocious lion. He is really trying hard to talk. Once in a while we think he says dog, cat, ball, papa and of course mama and daddy. Hayden's photo album should be up to date by tomorrow. Thanks for growing with us.

Hayden is getting smarter and faster every day. He is really walking good now, but he doesn't watch where he is going. Therefore, we bounce off of a lot of walls. He is also really teething bad. His top 2 molars are going to be popping through soon. His gums look like he has little balls in them and they are bruised. He seems to be handling it much better than I could probably handle it. It is definately amazing how hard it is to take pictures of a new walker. I have more pics of the back of his head or major closeups of his face. He never stands or sits still anymore. I really miss the stationary stage. We used to think he was a laid back baby, my how things change. Maybe I will get a chance to take some pics this week? Take care.

12 month check up
Mood:  celebratory
Well Hayden had his 12 month check up last week. He has finally slowed down in growing. He weighed in at 25lbs 10oz which puts him in the 90% for weight. And he is 33in which puts him at >95% for height. He is doing great. He has finally figured out how to walk in his shoes outside on the concrete, but he gets to excited and starts to run, which of course results in falling, but I have been able to catch him and avoid any injuries. He also eats absolutely anything you put in front of him and He pretty much cut out all of his bottles on his own. Except for the diapers, I almost feel we are out of the cute baby stage. My how fast the time went.

Hayden is Finally 1!!!!!!!!
Mood:  celebratory
Well our little guy turned 1 on Thursday and he has been a party animal ever since. On Thursday he had his first hair cut. He is absolutely adorable with it but He definately looks older. We then went to his gym class to wear him out. In the evening He had dinner with his Daddy and Mommy at Aurelios and opened a few gifts. On Saturday we had a Birthday party for Him and 2 other boys from his gym class. He loved it and loved playing in his cake. He is a super trooper. On Sunday (today) we had his Family Birthday party. He is definately a Ham. He loved opening his gifts, (he actually did some of it), He loved the food (Go Figure) and He really made a mess of his cake, but we all had a lot of fun. We go to the Dr. on Tuesday for his 1 year check up and I will pass on just how big Hayden is.

Thank you all for checking his website and for all the comments.

Our 1st Disney Vacation
We just got back from Disney World and had a great time. We think Hayden enjoyed it just as much as us. However, he was a little bit cautious around the Characters, but finally warmed up the them at our Dinner with the Characters. Of course he was eating so he was preoccupied, but we did convince him to give Minnie a kiss on the nose. He also went on many rides at different parks. One of his favorite was the Haunted Mansion at DW. He kept pointing and talking to the ghosts. He also seemed to pay attention when he was on It's a Small World, Peter Pan, Dumbo and Pirates of the Carribean. We also took him to MGM, but he was a little tired. He fell asleep in the MIDDLE of Muppets 3D. We also think the Highlight of the trip for Hayden was Wednesday night when we bought him a balloon. He carries it everywhere with him. I will be posting some pictures this weekend for everyone to see. Hayden is also a toddler now. He only crawls when He is tired. He now knows how to stand up all by himself. He tried running the other day and came to a crashing halt when he got to the wall. Hopefully he doesn't try that again to soon.
